1. Delete data on the phone
Do this on the phone where the app is installed:
- Open Settings, then Apps, then Aloha Mental Trainer.
- Open Storage, then tap Clear storage or Clear data.
- Or uninstall the app. That removes the same local data.
Deleted on that phone, immediately: child names, icons, levels, practice answers, exam results, lesson completion, stars, streaks, badges, settings, the parent PIN, and the saved backup code.
Not deleted by this step: a backup a parent already uploaded. That copy stays in our cloud until you ask us to delete it.
2. Ask us to delete a cloud backup
Use this when a parent has opened Parent, entered the PIN, and uploaded a backup.
- Find the backup code from that upload. It is 6 characters.
- Send the form on this page, or email support@bahadurtech.com with the subject “Delete my data” and the code.
- We delete the backup stored under that code, and the related public Board row, within 30 days.
Deleted from our servers: child names, practice answers, exam results, and lesson completion in that backup, plus the Board row for those children. The Board row is an avatar label and a count of correct answers, not the child’s name.
Kept after deletion: nothing from that backup, unless the law requires us to keep a copy. We do not keep a separate account, email, or advertising profile of the child. Google may still hold ad-request data under Google’s privacy policy. A parent can reset the phone’s advertising ID in system settings.
If you no longer have the code, say so in the message. Include the approximate date of the upload and any Board label you remember, such as “Star” plus four characters. We can delete a backup only when we can identify it.
Clearing the phone does not cancel a deletion request. Deleting the cloud copy does not remove the app from the phone.
